Food for thought...

I got this quote off of daveramsey.com newsletter and thought it was good.

Life is no straight and easy corridor along which we travel free and unhampered, but a maze of passages, through which we must seek our way, lost and confused, now and again checked in a blind alley.
But always, if we have faith, a door will open for us, not perhaps one that we ourselves would ever have thought of, but one that will ultimately prove good for us.
—A.J. Cronin

Next step

We finally have a contract on the house. Keeping our fingers crossed that all goes well.

School is out now and I am busy packing boxes. I don't know if I will buy something small for Ali to live in or rent a place for her. Good time to buy if that works out, but not much time before I leave on August 14.

Received an email from Kuwait today saying it has been about 114 degrees there and not even summer yet. Suggestion to buy "lots" of cotton before I go. I wonder how many times a day you have to change clothing? I am going to miss the beautiful 70 and 80 degree Colorado days as well as the green. Color deprivation will be a challenge for me.

I have been trying to touch base with friends and family. I will miss everyone.
